A water job can be very, very tricky. Water is an evasive liquid that can get into almost anything regardless of the seal it has. Because water gets everywhere its important to have the right tools to detect it and eliminate it. 

One crucial tool is the moisture meter. This tool is able to detect water through floors and walls by measuring the electrical resistance between two electrodes. When moisture is present within the wood, electricity flows more easily. Where as, wood that is becoming dryer will resist electrical flow.

The proper tools are always a staple in any well-done job whether it be knives and cooking in the kitchen or shoes and playing basketball somewhere. With the proper tools you can do any job with maximum efficiency and precision.
